Making the correct choice in paving stones for your new patio can be tricky with so many options on the market. Below are a few examples of the more popular products we have used, to help make your choice that little bit easier. These images have been taken from our portfolio of work.

Natural Stone
​
Indian sandstone is the most popular natural stone paving we have installed over the years. It is high in quality and is extremely durable. There are a variety of different colours and it also comes in four different sizes. The Sandstone comes in two different finishes; 'Riven' which has a textured finish and 'Sawn' which has a smooth non slip finish. Here are some examples of patios we have built using Indian Sandstone paving.

Limestone
​
Limestone is very similar to Sandstone paving. It features a softer riven finish on the surface and has sawn edges, which means the slabs can be laid closer together creating smaller joints. The two main colours are black and blue. These stones also come in four different sizes. Here are examples of patios completed using black Limestone.

Concrete
​
Concrete paving slabs are cost effective and come in a range of different colours and sizes. They can replicate natural stone paving at a much lower cost. Concrete paving slabs are versatile and can create a traditional or contemporary look. Here are some examples of projects we have completed using this product.

Porcelain
​
Porcelain paving is one of the most expensive on the market, but is fast becoming the most popular choice for patios everywhere. This is due to several reasons but mainly because they are non porous which creates a maintenance free product. The porcelain we use is the genuine Italian R11 product. There are a lot of poor quality substitutes around but industry opinion always ranks the Italian product as top of its class. They will never lose their colour or appearance and are non slip. They also come in a variety of sizes and finishes, including wood effect planks. Here are a few examples of porcelain paving we have used for recent projects.

Other Patio products
​
When you choose one of the above paving stones there are also many products which can be used to give your patio the finishing touch. A choice of border can be added to put around your finished patio, either in the same material or a different type, each creating their own look. There are also kerb options that can be used for steps, flower retainers etc. And lastly, 3D Walling is a really impressive feature to create a modern feel to your patio area. There are more options when looking to create a new patio in your home, other than those specified above. These are however the more popular options and all of the above are examples specifically from projects we have completed. Other options include Granite, block paving (which is usually laid for driveways) and also decking, all of which we are happy to undertake at the customers request.
